Volare, oh, oh.. Two tired babies Charlie, at the show on March 2003 Mario with Charlie & Mirie with Lola, March, 2003 Dad, we got Excellent!

On March 22, 2003, handled by "yours truly", Tropicana Piel Canela, aka, Lola, became the first Havanese Champion in Panama!  We do not have that many shows here at home, so sometimes it takes a bit longer to obtain the championship.  Hopefully she'll be bred for the first time on her next heat, so she'll arrive at maternity with the "CH" before her name.  We are really proud of our "Fula".  Charlie is also well under way to getting his championship.  A couple more point and he'll be a champ as well.  Let's just hope we more shows this year, so he can ge there soon!

This gorgeous sketch of Charlie is a very special present that my friend and photography mentor, Isabel Cutler, sent me. Thanks so much, Isabel!  It is a beautiful work, and it means a lot to us.

  Candela de los Gábatos
 wins her Championship title!

CANDELA

In the worst possible conditions -a wind strong enough to blow a Saint Bernard, and small planes flying a bit too close (!!!), Candela showed herself like if she were in the Madison Square Garden.  Happy to go with Mario, the "Purris" wouldn't stop to look at him and to wave her tail while she strolled to win the hearts of everybody.  Also, she obtained her Breeding Permit, with great comments from the judge.  It didn't come as a surprise to us: as she obtained EXCELLENT under all the judges that we showed her.  Way to go, Candy!

Almost gone with the wind..

I am supposed to walk where? Giorgio, not too relax...  Trying her best to keep her coat in place
