The Havanese in our lives are part of our family, and we expect no less of the families that will adopt their babies. The Havanese are a very special breed, they crave companionship and there’s nothing they enjoy more than to make their family happy. They are furry little kids, and we will take every available step to ensure they go to the best homes.

If you’re interested in one of our puppies, please take the time to fill out these questions. You’re answers will give us an idea of what you’re looking for, so we will be better equipped to match the right puppy to the right owner. This is a lifetime decision, please do not take it lightly.

Once you have a Havanese in your arms, you’ll understand exactly what we mean. They will give we more love than you could imagine possible, and you’ll have a never-ending source of laughter, packaged in a small, silky package. They are our treasures.

1. So you're looking for a dog. What do you like most about them? What worries you the most about getting a new dog?


2. Why have you chosen a Havanese? Please tell us as much as possible.


3. Do you own a dog or any other pets? What breed and how old are they?


4. If so, please provide the name of your Veterinarian, phone number and email.


5. Where will your Hav be kept? Where will he sleep at night?


6. Do you work? If so, where will the dog stay when you’re out? Is there someone to take care of him/her during your absence? Or how long do you expect she'll be alone?


7. Do you have children? If so, what ages.


8. Where do you live? An apartment, a house? If a house, is it fenced?


9. As you know, a Havanese –any pure bred dog- is a big investment. Yet, this is only the beginning. Have you thought about the expenses involved in taking good care of you dog?


10. When accidents occur, what do you think is the best approach to treat a puppy? An adult dog? Please share your thoughts regarding discipline, house-breaking and training.



11. Have you ever given a pet away, or have you taken it back to the breeder? If so, why?
